| Similan Islands & Richelieu Rock from Phuket in Thailand The Somboon Fleet of Liveaboards is the most flexible of all the Similan Liveaboards and with Somboon IV you can get to the Similan for as little as two awesome nights or stay as long as ten nights on an extended Similan adventure including Richelieu Rock. The Somboon IV differs slightly from its sister ship the Somboon III as boat four provides the added benefit of diving Richelieu Rock, Koh Tacha and Koh Bon two times per week on Wednesday’s and Sundays. So you can join this boat five days a week while it is based at the Similan and escape to Richelieu for some Whale Shark spotting. To dive the famous Richelieu Rock you must book a minimum of three days. But when you take a look at the amazing prices for such a world class dive site you will find it hard not to stay longer and you can be as flexible as you wish booking four, five, six or seven nights or more to capture the best creatures in the ocean. The Somboon IV is a large vessel catering for up to 28 guests onboard and it is recommended mostly for advanced divers. The food is fantastic and the crew great fun to be around. There are lots of extra opportunities onboard such as photography snap shots of your diving from your tour leader offered on disc for you to take away and remember. It’s also one of the few Liveaboards we provide a transfer to early mornings as most Liveaboards set sail in the evening requiring the additional travelling time but with this boat stationed where the action is the whole time it provides a unique experience for any level of diver.
