Indonesia
is a gem of a diving destination and four of our exceptional
Thailand Liveaboards head to Indonesia during Thailand’s low
season so you can experience the best of both worlds in Asia
from these awesome vessels Siren, Queen Scuba, Mermaid I and
Mermaid II.
The Indonesian diving season
is from June-October with Queen Scuba, Mermaid I and
Mermaid II offering a Liveaboard trip leaving from Benoa Harbour
Bali which is conveniently located in between Kuta and Sanur
beach and only a quick 20 minute ride from the airport. Diving
is around Nusa Tengarra, Sangeang Island, Komodo National
Park and Gili and not only will you see the wonders of the
Indonesian ocean you will also get to walk on the National
Park to see the Komodo Dragons. This is a very exciting trip
with regular sightings of dolphins and sometimes Whales. Common
underwater species include a wonderful variety of Sharks,
Eagle Rays, Giant Wrasse, Turtles, Spanish Dancers and more
besides.
For Mermaid II departures/arrivals
are on Saturdays to allow convenience of flying into
Bali on the weekend and departing on the weekend as well.
Departure time will be approximately 1600 hours and arrival
time back will be 0900 hours giving a lot of time to catch
a same day flight.
Still emphasising the great
Komodo National Park access the SY Siren leaves from
Bima on the Island of Sumawa easily reached via a one hour
flight from Bali.
Book early to avoid disappointment.
Diving in Indonesia should be
in every divers log book!
