Destination

Offering two very different diving experiences the liveaboards in Mexico could not be more diverse. Guadalupe Island is the perfect destination for great white shark cage diving and Socorro in the Sea of Cortez with the giant mantas. In the Pacific Ocean Guadalupe is one of Mexico's most remote islands, in geological terms it is stunning. Also being a biosphere reserve it is home to elephant and fur seals, Californian sea lions as well as a reliable population of great white sharks, which have featured in many documentaries. Historically the best time of year for the great white sharks is from July to December.

The four Revillagigedo Islands are commonly known as Socorro. Situated in the Sea of Cortez the giant mantas are one of the main attractions. Here the mantas dive peacefully with humans making this liveaboard destination a favorite, with the mantas there are also 7 species of shark, dolphins, humpback whales plus 850 different species of reef fish. Virtually every dive appears to be action packed with both large and smaller marine life. The added bonus of the humpback whale migration between January and March make this a perfect liveaboard choice.
