The Caribbean islands have been a diving mecca for many years. The attraction of their crystal clear, warm waters mixed with a superb climate and amazing marine life make it legendry. With literally thousands of dive sites, huge coral reefs and wrecks it is no surprise the Caribbean is a liveaboard diving favorite. The destinations available in the Caribbean are the Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, Saba and St Kitts and the Turks and Caicos islands.

Sitting in the heart of central America Belize has its own barrier reef system, said to be the second largest in the world. Taking a liveaboard trip in Belize offers the most varied diving selection.

Hawaii's volcanic underwater topography is a diving wonderland. Lava tubes, bommies, arches and huge craters make the perfect backdrop for a large variety of endemic marine life on board this amazing liveaboard diving trip.

Best time of year

The Caribbean islands, Belize, Hawaii and Utila all boast a fantastic climate, often described as near perfect with temperatures rarely too hot or too cold both the air and water temperatures remain between the early 20's – early 30's. Generally this sub-tropical climate benefit from the cooling trade winds. In broad terms the wet season is from June to November however some of the best diving conditions are found during this season.

Belize liveaboards depart from Belize City.
Cayman Islands liveaboards depart from Grand Cayman.
Dominican Republic liveaboards depart from Puerto Plata.
Hawaii liveaboards depart from Kona.
Saba & St Kitts liveaboards depart from either St Kitts or St Maarten depending on the itinerary.
Turks & Caicos liveaboards depart from Providencials.
Utila is reached by a short flight from either San Pedro Sula or Roatan in Honduras.

Currency – US dollars are readily accepted in all destinations and credit cards are widely accepted and ATM machines are available.
Electricity is 115 volts with US style plugs, please take adaptors.
Doctors and hyperbaric chambers are available in all destinations.

Liveaboard food in these areas is both plentiful and varied. Using a combination of American cuisine and local products there is sure to be something to suit everyone. The variation of meat, fruit and vegetables is not as limited as in other areas of the world. These liveaboards certainly understand what hungry work diving can be!
