Blue Pearl - Liveaboard

 |
|
Designed to be a more environmentally friendly diving liveaboard Blue Pearl is licensed to offer Egypt's Red Sea top dive sites including islands, reefs and marine parks.
Blue Pearl can accommodate 20 guests within her 10 cabins. All cabins are comfortably equipped with air conditioning and en-suite.
The sun deck area offers both shade and sun to suit everyone's needs and is perfect for both relaxing after enjoying a stunning day of Red Sea diving or soaking up some of Egypt's amazing sun. On board you will also find some great spots to take in the Red Sea scenery.
The large main saloon on Blue Pearls main deck offers the chance to relax and unwind. The dining arrangements offer a selection of tables, which gives the opportunity to dine and discuss the days diving stories.
In terms of environmentally friendly efforts the Blue Pearl has greatly improved fuel efficiency thanks to the aerodynamic hull, which also allows for lower water displacement and faster cruising speeds.
Agent Liveaboard verdict: Blue Pearl is the latest generation of diving liveaboard offering not only Egypt's Red Sea top sites but also a new concept in environmentally friendly awareness. |

Brothers
To those who know it, the two islands located in the middle of the Red Sea, represent some of the most challenging but, nevertheless, most beautiful and enchanting dive sites in the Red Sea.
Due to the strong currents that frequently hit the Brothers, you can expect to find some of the most fantastic marine life in the Red Sea. It`s a daily encounter with sharks or other predators.
The highlights of the big brother are the fascinating; gravity defying shipwrecks of Aida and Numbia with their amazing growth of soft corals.
Some of the dive sites are:-
- Abu Ramada/Abu Dabab
- Big Brother
- Little Brother
- Safaga area/Elphinstone
- and others...
A few considerations:
- The diver considering a visit to the Brothers should have some experience in that sort of diving.
- By Egyptian law we have to start this itinerary from Hurghada or Port Ghalib.
- Due to the fact that The Brothers are exposed to wind and elements, this itinerary is only possible from spring to autumn.
- The sailing distance is between 350 and 450 km depending on where we start the trip.
(The exact itinerary and reefs visited depends on weather conditions and the diver`s level of experience)

North & Wrecks
This is the classic Red Sea itinerary. To the North of Hurghada, the Red Sea splits into two arms embracing the Sinai Peninsula, the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba. The Mediterranean is connected to the Red Sea via the man made Suez Canal that opens to the very busy strait of Gubal, east of Hurghada. The straits of Gubal, being laden with reefs, is consequently the resting place of many shipwrecks.
This itinerary combines the most famous wrecks of the Red Sea with stunning walls, drop offs and reef diving.
The trip includes; diving the 'wreck graveyard' at Abu Nuhas. This reef lies close to the shipping lane of the Suez Canal and has claimed more wrecks than any other. These wrecks are fairly open and covered in beautiful coral-a photographers dream.
At the tip of the Sinai and fed with nutrient rich waters from the Gulf of Aqaba is the National Park, Ras Mohamed. It is famous for its breath taking walls and drop offs. It teams with large shoals of fish, hard and soft coral gardens and magnificent fan corals.
The estimated sailing time during the week is around 200 km.
(The exact itinerary and reefs visited depends on weather conditions and the divers level of experience.) |
St John
This itinerary is a beautiful way to discover the south. Deep drop offs covered with vibrant corals in the bluest of blue sea.
Shark and other large pelagic are common as they come in to the reef and up from the deep.
This is an astounding reef safari and a photographer's dream.
This trip is better suited to the more experience diver which is why we ask that divers to have 30 logged dives and be PADI advanced or equivalent.
The sailing distance during the whole week is 750 km and the itinerary runs throughout the year.
Here are some examples of sites you expect to visit during the week.
- Abu Dabab
- Elphinstone
- Shaab Claudia
- Dolphin Reef (Sataya)
- Shaab Sharm
- St. John Reef (Habili Ali, Small Gota...)
- Fury Shoal
- Marsa Shouna
- and others...
