Maldivian Dream - Liveaboard


The Maldivian Dream is a 31m Liveaboard with an additional Dhoni boat that stores the BAUER compressors and the NRC NITROX membranes, all of the dive gear, including the 30 steel tanks (12 & 15 liters), tools, booster pump, first aid kit, 2x50lits medical oxygen and an Automatic Emergency Defibrillator AED. This offers guests quiet noise on the actual Liveaboard itself and super safe kitting up, drop off and pick up service. The Maldivian Dream has 10 cabins, 2 with single bunk beds and 8 with queen size bed plus a single bed. The boat has 3 decks; Lower deck consists of 8 cabins.

Main deck with galley, restaurant and bar, toilet, TV-DVD corner, giant screen cinema, plus camera rack with plugs for recharging batteries and a PC computer with multi-card reader to download your cameras, record CD's-DVD's. On top deck we find 2 cabins overlooking the ocean, a toilet plus wheelhouse. Several open-air areas around the boat, with sun beds, mattress and chairs, plus 5 people Jacuzzi on the upper terrace available for total relaxation.

All cabins are air conditioned, with a bathroom with cold and hot water. This is an exceptional Liveaboard for the Maldives with multiple trip itineraries to get to all of the best diving hotspots the Maldives has to offer. CLASSIC ROUTE

This is the most popular and well-known route, which we dive successfully for 14 years now.

  • 7 night, 7 diving days, arrival and departure from Male.
  • Visited atolls: North and South Male, Rashdoo and Ari, south and/or north.
  • Goals: Mantas and Whale shark in Ari, pelagic in South Male channels submersed pinnacles "thilas" with abundant and colorful fish life in Ari.
  • 2 week trips available adding this route with the South/North Route.

"5 ATOLLS SOUTH" ROUTE

A different route for the ones who did already the classic route and prefer to get away from the crowded zones in the high season (March and April).

  • 7 night, 6 diving days, arrival and departure from Male.
  • Visited atolls: North and South Male, Felidhoo, Meemu and Ari.
  • Goals: Mantas and Whale shark in Ari, pelagic in South Male, Félido and Meemu, hammerheads in Fotteyo channel.

"5 ATOLLS SOUTH" ROUTE

A different route for the ones who did already the classic route and prefer to get away from the crowded zones in the high season (March and April).

  • 7 night, 6 diving days, arrival and departure from Male.
  • Visited atolls: North and South Male, Felidhoo, Meemu and Ari.
  • Goals: Mantas and Whale shark in Ari, pelagic in South Male, Félido and Meemu, hammerheads in Fotteyo channel.

DEEP SOUTH EXPEDITION

Once again we will sail south; February and March, this time, in 2 rotations, for 4 weeks each of them, 2 on the way down and 2 on the way up, making it perfect for those who would like to join the "Best of Maldives" trip by joining for 2 weeks. The route goes from Male through the southern hemisphere atolls and back diving and sailing the "Maldives 25 years ago". Untouched reefs, busy channels, pelagic action, pristine beaches.

CLASSIC + NORTH ROUTE

From Male to Baa Atoll, then down to Rasdhoo and North of Ari, ending in Male. North Male atoll for mantas and thilas, ARI atoll the northern thilas, RASDHOO for the magic hammerhead early morning dive, BAA and RAA for the reefs, thilas and mantas and whale shark.

Optional Noonu for some thilas and pelagic action and LHAVIYANI for the pelagics in the channel and wreck diving in Felivaru, instead of Rasdhoo and North Ari.


Travel details (example of ordinary trip)
Day 1

Arrival to the Male Intl. Airport and transfer to the Maldivian Dream by our staff, welcome drink and accommodation; general diving briefing and dive boat preparation.
Day 2 to 7 Depending on route heading north or south with daily 3 dives (at least 1 night dive in the week) full board 3/5 meals on double cabin (sharing), visits and after dive activities.

  • Step 4 - We will send you an invoice and payment request. Payments are required within 7 days of booking to confirm your trip. We cannot guarantee your booking without payment. Last minute bookings will require immediate online payment.
