Caribbean Explorer II - Liveaboard

Dive the northeastern Caribbean Sea areas of Saba and St Kitts with the Caribbean Explorer II. These intriguing dive sites give a fascinating insight to the warm, exciting Caribbean Sea.

The Caribbean Explorer II can accommodate a total of 18 guests within its 9 staterooms. Each stateroom has air conditioning and a private bathroom.

The upper deck features a large sunning area with comfortable sunbeds and chairs making this a great spot to take in the Caribbean scenery and sun. The Caribbean Explorer II also has a semi-enclosed, air-conditioned salon with entertainment center, seating areas and wet bar. Ideal for discussing the dives of the day.

The dive deck is equipped with individual gear lockers, large camera table with low-pressure air hose, recharging stations, air filling station, tank racks and separate freshwater rinse baths for dive equipment and cameras. Also located on the dive deck are a wetsuit hanging area, two freshwater showers, and a bathroom, as well as a drinking fountain. There are two ladders leading down to the dive platform itself, where two in-water ladders hang for easy access to and from the water.

Agent Liveaboard verdict: The Caribbean Explorer II gives the opportunity to dive these little know Caribbean Sea delights. You can also take the opportunity to combine some land excursions to these amazing Caribbean Islands.

In the Northeastern Caribbean there are 2 itineraries, depending on the week you choose to dive. Departures alternate weeks from St. Maarten and St. Kitts. If you choose a charter which begins in St. Maarten, the charter will end in St. Kitts and you will fly home from there. If you choose a charter that begins in St. Kitts, the charter will end in St. Maarten and that will be your return location.

Sample Itineraries

Days aboard the liveaboard generally involve breakfast from 7 to 8 am (cold breakfasts are available for late risers), followed by two morning dives, lunch at 12:30 pm, two afternoon dives, dinner at 6:30 pm, and a night dive. Island tours will be arranged at each island visited for those interested; further island access is available daily upon request.

Please note that these itineraries are examples only, and will change depending on weather and logistics at the Captain's discretion.
